National Migration Week & World Day of Peace!

Poster-NMW-2018-1As Catholics, this is celebrated from January 7-14 and used as an opportunity to reflect on the circumstances that surround people’s choice to migrate. Often times we fail to recognize the difficulties that surround the migrant experience. Please take some time to learn more about our migrant and refugee brothers and sisters by visiting the following links below.

World Day of Peace!

This year’s world day of peace is on January 1, 2018. The theme for this year also focuses on the lives of migrants and Refugees. Pope Francis invites us to welcome, promote, protect, and integrate, our fellow migrants and refugees in our communities to become  a more universal family, that views ourselves as residents of a common home. If you would like to read the message from His Holiness Pope Francis, please click here to read his letter.
