New Parking Guidelines
We are so blessed, at St. Anthony parish, to be in the middle of a busy neighborhood. I am sure that when the Parish was established in 1902, the thinking of the time was not the busyness that see all around today. The larger we grow in ministries and daily activities as a parish with schools, the more challenging and complicated it can be. We are blessed this year to have an increase in number of students attending our Parish Elementary school and High School. Our own Religious Education program (CCD) has a waiting list. How can we not rejoice? It is our home away from home for so many. Let us continue praying for each other and as our Gospel today reminds us, we are HIS GUESTS!
I would like to share with you part of our own struggle for the parking facilities we have been entrusted to take care of when both schools are in session. Please note the map layout which applies to weekdays and follow it.
During the week, we also have noticed the Mass attendance growing and have heard your plead to have parking available for you who come from work during your lunch break. We have assigned two-hour spots in our parking so that you may be able to come and pray in peace and not be frustrated because of the street parking. These two-hour spaces are also available for when you come to be with the Lord in prayer during the day or you may have some parish ministry or visit to the parish. We also have re-configured six parking spaces to be ADA compliant. During the weekends, our parking is extremely limited so please follow the instructions of out parking attendants. It helps us all!
