Our beautiful Church is an impressive space to celebrate your wedding. The wonderful mosaics and other art enhance the prayerful experience of your special day. If you would like to celebrate your Sacrament of Marriage with us, please start the process at least 12 months ahead to ensure that we help you be well prepared. You can read our Marriage Information Brochure in English or in Spanish to get acquainted with our process. Gold StripRELIGIOUS EDUCATION

Registrations for new students the 2019-2020 program year will begin July 1, 2019.

Thank you for taking interest in enrolling into the Religious Education Program here at St. Anthony. Please note that this is a two-year program.

  • Entering 2nd-7th graders for the 2019-2020 school year are welcome to register for First Holy Communion formation.

  • Entering 9th-11th graders for the 2019-2020 school year are welcome to register for Confirmation formation.

We have limited space and parents are asked to apply during the months of July and August during normal office hours. September 1st is the last day to register for the year, no exceptions.

For First Communion Students, we ask that parents bring the child’s birth and Baptism certificates and the $70 annual enrollment fee.

For Confirmation Students, please bring the child’s birth, Baptism and first Communion certificates in addition to $125 annual enrollment fee.

EDUCACIÓN RELIGIOSA

Las inscripciones para el año 2019-2020 comenzarán el 1ero de julio del 2019.

Gracias por su interes en inscribir a su hijo/a al Programa de Educación Religiosa. Este es un programa de dos años.

  • Los estudiantes que vayan a comenzar en los grados de Segundo a Séptimo para el año escolar 2019-2020 se pueden inscribir en la formación para la Primera Comunión.
  • Los estudiantes que vayan a comenzar en los grados Noveno al Onceavo pueden registrarse en la formación para la Confirmación.

Tenemos cupo limitado y les pedimos a los padres de familia que apliquen durante los meses de junio y julio en horas de oficina. El 1ero de septiembre es el último día para registrarse para este año y no se habrán excepciones.

Para los estudiantes de Primera Comunión, pedimos que los padres de familia traigan el certificado de nacimiento y la fe de Bautismo del estudiante y $70 de inscripción para el primer año.

Para los estudiantes de Confirmación por favor traiga el certificado de nacimiento, la fe de Bautismo y la boleta de Primera Comunión de su estudiante y la cuota anual de $125.

SACRAMENTS

Reconciliation The Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession) is celebrated on Fridays at 5:00pm in the church.

Anointing of the Sick Please call the parish office when the Sacrament of the Sick is necessary.

Baptisms We celebrate the Sacrament of Baptism for infants and adults. For infants, the sacrament is celebrated on certain Saturdays throughout the year except during Lent. Click here for more information and requirements. Call the parish secretary at 562.590.9229 to know what baptism dates are available. Adult baptism is celebrated through the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA). Call Sr. Zulma Esquivel-Diaz at 562.590.9229 for more information.

Holy Communion and Confirmation For children, preparation to receive Holy Communion and the Sacrament of Confirmation is done through the Religious Education Program. Preregistration is required. Registrations take place on Sundays in the church patio during the month of June. This is a two-year program with classes that run from September through April. Adult Communion and Confirmation preparation is done through the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA). Call the parish office at 562.590.9229 for more information.

Weddings The Sacrament of Marriage celebrated on Saturdays. Couples interested in celebrating their wedding at St. Anthony parish must contact the office at least 12 months in advance to ensure proper preparation of the couple.
